ABSTRACT This article investigates entrepreneurship literature insights into whether and how changing organizational strategies processes toward more sustainable ones can allow small medium enterprises (SMEs) to gain resilience. Purpose We aimed to study how movement restrictions during the COVID-19 pandemic affected survival of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in Brazil.
