Purpose This paper examines and compares the role of social protection to promote inclusive growth in two countries (once related), Pakistan Bangladesh, from 1984 2020, using annual time series data. Design/methodology/approach The study used principal component analysis develop index protection, macroeconomic stability. It also employed co-integration with impulse response function fully modified ordinary least squares test for long-run cointegration. Findings key results highlighted that positively promotes both countries. Both concepts share similar objectives of championing shared prosperity, equity, and environmental stewardship for human welfare.
