Clipper

Abstract
Europa,
the
most
visibly
active
icy
moon
of
Jupiter,
is
a
prime
target
for
search
life
in
outer
solar
system.
Two
spacecraft
missions,
Europa
Clipper
from
National
Aeronautics
and
Space
Administration
(NASA)
Jupiter
Icy
Moon
Explorer
(JUICE)
European
Agency
(ESA),
will
observe
its
surface,
probe
interior
structure,
characterize
space
environment
starting
2030.
Occasional
eruptions
water
sourced
Europa’s
may
provide
window
on
conditions
habitability
moon.
Here,
we
investigate
storage
evolution
briny
ice
shell
propose
framework
to
interpret
spectral,
thermal,
radar
gravity
data
collected
by
future
missions.
We
show
that
it
possible
discriminate
between

ocean
or
shallow
liquid
reservoirs
using
combined
measurements
