Several studies have suggested that may serve source pollutants; however, there clearly demonstrate efficient removal nutrients organic pollutants by roofs. This article critically examines existing literature on water aspects associated elucidates their classification operational mechanisms. Through an analysis previous research cases, it becomes evident both substrate vegetation play significant role influencing performance By designing configuring appropriate vegetation, pivotal purification quality. Finally, brief outlook presented future directions roofs, anticipation will feature more innovative environmentally friendly designs, well expanded prospects application.
