Metabolic health is closely related to testosterone levels, and the cardiometabolic index (CMI) a novel metabolic evaluation metric that encompasses obesity lipid metabolism. However, there currently lack of research on relationship between CMI testosterone, which objective this study. This study utilized data from National Health Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES) cycles 2011 2016. Only adult males who completed physical measurements, metabolism assessments, measurements were included in final analysis. The exposure variable was analyzed both as continuous categorical divided into quartiles. Testosterone measured using isotope dilution liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry technique. Linear logistic regression analyses used explore total (TT) well risk deficiency (TD). Smooth curve fittings employed visualize their linear relationships. Subgroup conducted evaluate stability our results across different participant characteristics. Finally, ROC analysis assess performance predicting TD. A 2,747 participants analysis, including 552 with TD (20.10%). average sample 1.59 ± 0.03, having higher 2.18 0.08 compared non-TD at 1.46 0.03. Corresponding levels 223.79 3.69 ng/dL 508.36 5.73 ng/dL, respectively. After adjusting for all covariates, showed lower TT (β = -23.84, 95% CI: -33.94, -13.74, p < 0.0001) (OR 1.26, 1.08, 1.48, 0.01). When categorized quartiles Q1 reference, Q4 exhibited significantly -74.04, -106.01, -42.08, 2.34, 1.18, 4.64, 0.02). indicated these variables. confirmed associations population demonstrated had good predictive cut-off value 1.126 an AUC (95% CI) 0.673 (0.649, 0.700). associated TD, it can predict Using early detection timely intervention could reduce disease burden promote reproductive health. Further prospective studies large sizes are needed validate findings.
