This
study
was
carried
out
on
Fagus
orientalis
Lipsky
(Oriental
beech),
Carpinus
hornbeam),
and
Quercus
petraea
(Matt.)
Liebl.
(Sessile
oak)
species
that
naturally
spread
in
the
Çaycuma
district
of
Zonguldak
province,
an
industrial
area
northwestern
Türkiye.

to

Morphological
measurements

natural

Airborne
metals
and
organic
pollutants
are
linked
to
severe
human
health
impacts,
i.e.
affecting
the
nervous
system
being
associated
with
cancer.
polycyclic
aromatic
hydrocarbons
(PAHs)
in
urban
environments
derived
from
diverse
sources,
including
combustion
industrial
vehicular
emissions,
posing
a
threat
air
quality
subsequently

lichen
biomonitoring
approach

PAHs,
