Copper oxide nanoparticles are thought to be an important transition metal due their interesting properties. Selenium is structural component of numerous enzymes, including glutathione peroxidase (GPx), thioredoxin reductase, as well deiodinases. The present work was undertaken evaluate the histological and immunohistochemical alterations in adult rat ovary after oral administration CuO-NPs, assess potential ameliorative impact selenium. Sixty female albino rats were equally divided two major groups: group I II. Group further into three control IA, IB: given 2000 mg/kg CuO-NPs once, IC: received selenium (0.5 mg/kg), five days before giving one high dose CuO-NPs. Thereafter, for 14 days. Titanium alloys are difficult to machine and have poor tribological properties. This paper investigates the lubricating performance of γ-Al2O3/ZnO hybrid nanofluids for Ti-6Al-4V. Pure compared, effects ratios studied. The results show that outperform pure in terms lower friction coefficients better surface quality. Moreover, nanofluid with a mass ratio Al2O3 ZnO 2:1 demonstrates best lubrication reduced coefficient up 22.1% compared base solution, resulting improved nanoparticles can adhere work as coating, which further enhances water-based nanofluid.

Among the physical and chemical properties of nanomaterials, hydrophobicity is considered to play a key role in their impact on environment. Changes resulting from abiotic biotic processes can be used predict behaviours nanoparticles (NPs) environment (e.g., aggregation, toxicity, bioaccumulation). Hydrophobicity changes induced by sulfidation natural organic matter (NOM) corona formation were evaluated monitoring binding rate silver (Ag) NPs engineered surfaces using dark-field microscopy (DFM). It was found that this DFM-based method more capable distinguishing environmentally relevant AgNPs than dye adsorption method. Under conditions tested study, sulfidized NOM/“lipid-free” (LF-)NOM increased AgNPs. Both methods demonstrate tendency become hydrophobic after sulfidation. This study shows effectively measure have potential widely as fate predictors future.
