Due to their biodegradability, biocompatibility, and attraction towards contaminants, this review will explore the application of chitosan guar gum-based polymeric nanocomposites for adsorption various pollutants from water. Chitosan gum have low mechanical, regeneration, separation, surface area properties that restrict in contaminants. These can be improved by incorporating nanoparticles such as silica, metal oxides, carbon nanotubes. This discusses nanoparticles, chitosan, nano/composites. The kinetic isotherm models describe processes are presented along with capacities. Moreover, mechanisms influencing process, electrostatic attraction, ion exchange, hydrogen bonding, also highlighted. paper provides thorough insights into potential effectively removing contaminants like heavy metals, dyes, pharmaceuticals wastewater. findings indicate possibility based efficient excellent adsorbents wastewater treatment.
