ABSTRACT d ‐Glucaric acid is a value‐added dicarboxylic that can be utilized in the chemical, food, and pharmaceutical industries. Due to complex process environmental pollution associated with chemical production of ‐glucaric acid, bioconversion for its synthesis has garnered increasing attention recent years. In this study, novel cell factory was developed efficient using ‐xylose methanol. Mdh, Hps, Phi, Miox, Ino1, Suhb, Udh were first co‐expressed E. coli JM109 construct pathway. The deletion FrmRAB, RpiA, PfkA, PfkB then performed block or weaken endogenous competitive pathways. Next, adaptive evolution carried out improve growth substrate utilization.
