The potential of Streptomyces jeddahensis for lipid production was investigated, focusing on its ability to utilize various carbon sources under different temperature conditions. Glucose and fatty acid derivatives (sodium hexanoate, sodium octanoate, decanoate) were tested at 30 °C, 37 45 °C optimize growth biosynthesis. results revealed that the optimal accumulation, with octanoate leading highest content. While declined significant persisted, indicating an adaptive stress response. Gene expression analysis identified upregulation key metabolic genes, including STSP_03080 (DGAT) STSP_67970 (fabD), thermal stress, highlighting enhanced biosynthesis pathways. This study demonstrates capacity S. efficiently convert medium-chain acids into lipids, supporting use as a sustainable scalable platform biodiesel other lipid-based industrial applications.
