Recently, the Internet of Medical Things (IoMT) has gained broad acclaim in academic and industrial sectors due to its use integrating medical devices healthcare systems. Wireless body area networks (WBANs) are a promising technology smart for real-time patient monitoring health data analysis by professionals. Efficient transmission is essential ensuring reliable timely delivery facilities. Healthcare services require reliable, delay-sensitive, energy- congestion-aware communication, which makes it challenging design routing protocol. To address quality (QoS) IoMT-enabled WBANs healthcare, we propose Q-learning-based aware (QQAR). Firstly, used two-hop-based link reliability estimation ensure from sources sink nodes. Routing decisions using two-hop neighbor information guarantees successful packet delivery. Secondly, differentiated packets based on traffic priority, assures critical even congested network. Particularly, considering node velocity with energy balancing enhanced guarantee before deadlines. In addition, multi-sink approach network reliability. Finally, utilized Q-learning select suitable nodes forwarding decentralized fashion. A load balance congestion control mechanism adjusts QQAR avoid congestion. Our simulation comparison results showed that outperforms existing protocols across various performance metrics under distinct conditions.

In today's era, the deployment of wearable and implantable devices sensor nodes is expanding, giving rise to new research directions in Wireless Body Area Networks (WBANs) address various challenges such as efficient routing, security, interoperability, power consumption, energy optimization, fault-tolerance, reliable communication, etc. Among all challenges, routing one most important factors that needs consideration for data transmission. With use (on-body) or implanted (in-body) sensors, WBANs are utilized e-healthcare systems retrieve physiological parameters from human body, systematically route them a remote server. High network performance effective communication depend on protocol's design. Consequently, primary objective this work provide comprehensive taxonomy advanced protocols used WBANs. This review paper discusses different WBAN recent years, reported 2019 2024. The categories related addressed while highlighting their objectives, problem specifications, advantages, disadvantages, simulation tools, metrics. These evaluated compared terms like energy, congestion control, priority, scalability, latency, Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR), node temperature, lifetime, throughput, path loss, Finally, gaps summarized reviewed protocols, future aspects discussed.

Abstract Conventional patient monitoring in healthcare has limitations such as delayed identification of deteriorating conditions, disruptions to routines, and discomfort due extensive wiring for bed-bound patients. To address these, we have recently developed an innovative IoT-based system real-time wireless monitoring. This includes a flexible epidermal patch that collects vital signs using low power electronics transmits the data IoT nodes hospital beds. The connect smart gateway aggregates information interfaces with (HIS), facilitating exchange electronic health records (EHR) enhancing access professionals. Our study validates proposed bed architecture clinical setting, assessing its ability meet personnel needs, comfort, transmission reliability. Technical performance assessment involves analyzing key indicators communication across various interfaces, including wearable device box, link between HIS. Also, comparative analysis is conducted on from our traditional equipment. Usability evaluation questionnaires completed by patients Results demonstrate robustness proposed, exhibiting reliable efficient flow, while offering significant improvements over conventional wired methods, unrestricted mobility improved comfort enhance delivery.
