In recent decades, the extensive use of synthetic dyes in dye-based industries, particularly textile sector, has led to environmental contamination, raising concerns about water quality and human health. This study aimed develop a sustainable approach for treating wastewater contaminated with indigo dye through hybrid combining bioremediation nanofiltration reuse. first stage, two bioaugmentation strategies were compared: using native microorganisms (R-1) activated sludge from municipal treatment plant (R-2). Both effectively reduced chemical oxygen demand (COD) 200 mg/L eliminated over 90% color. Statistical analysis showed no significant difference COD removal efficiencies between R-1 R-2. Correlation revealed strong association (>99%) COD, suspended solids (SS) concentration, color reactors, providing insights into monitoring treatment, potential cost reductions benefits. second (NF) organic membranes was employed obtain high-quality permeate reuse denim washing. Permeability measurements demonstrated similar membrane behavior (NF 270 Alfa Laval NF) at various transmembrane pressures (TMPs). achieved rejection rates exceeding 96% efficiency 80% all TMPs. NF tests R-2 effluent higher flux 23.71 L·h−1·m−2 TMP 5 bar, exhibiting superior compared membrane. The techno-economic biological treatment/NF have mean unit 0.97 USD/m3, indicating economic feasibility competitiveness against commercial purification processes
