The role of technological innovation in environmental pollution, energy consumption and sustainable economic growth: Evidence from South Asian economies

This study examines the causal relationship among technological innovation (TI), environment pollution (EP), energy consumption (EC) and sustainable economic growth (SEG) from selected South Asian economies. In order to identify association between nexus of CO2 emissions, this is employed premises EKC framework. has used annual time series data set world development indicator (WDI), start 1990 2019. The result a fully modified ordinary least square (FMOLS) method describes significantly worsen quality in south region. individual country as Bangladesh shows positively significant impact on emissions destroying level regarding non-renewable renewable index. However, negative positive values (GDP) GDP respectively confirm hypothesis identified causality carbon emission found bidirectional use.

This research explores the influence of real oil prices, trade openness, carbon emanations, economic growth, and income inequality on renewable energy consumption (REC) in twenty (20) OECD nations from 1991 to 2020 by employing AMG assessor, which takes into account slope heterogeneity (SH) CSD. The empirical outcomes confirm a significant favorable long-run relationship between these nexus, except for Carbon are adversely related with REC, respectively. findings also reveal that inequality, prices all have one-way causal CO2 emanations.
