Background Health care workers (HCWs) involved in day-to-day and other healthcare activities play a significant role biomedical waste (BMW) management. The World Organization stated some of the causes for failure BMW management, namely, lack awareness health hazards related to inadequate trained HCWs present study assessed knowledge, attitude, practice (KAP) towards management among northern Saudi Arabia. Methodology KAP through self-administered validated questionnaire. Using multistage probability sampling method, 384 from different facilities participated this survey. We performed binomial logistic regression analysis find association between subscales sociodemographic characteristics. Spearman’s correlation test was strength direction ( rho ) scores. Results Of population studied, high scores were found 47.1%, 65.1%, 49.5% HCWs, respectively. that knowledge score significantly higher age group 30 39 years (ref: less than years: AOR = 2.25, 95% CI [1.05–4.85], p 0.04) non- nationals Saudi: 2.84, [1.63–4.94], < 0.001) attitude lower working tertiary settings PHC: 0.38, [0.12–0.69], 0.01). Regarding score, male categories had female: 1.82, [1.19 –2.99], 0.02), while pharmacist physicians: 0.39, [0.18–0.58], 0.02) lab technicians 0.31, [0.11–0.53], score. results revealed weak positive with (rho 0.249, 0.001), moderately strong 0.432, 0.001). Conclusion This suggests regular training program on is necessary symposiums, play, interactive lectures, feasible methods. Furthermore, multicentric prospective exploratory be conducted regions KSA understand region-specific needs HCWs.

Topic modelling with innovative deep learning methods has gained interest for a wide range of applications that includes COVID-19. It can provide, psychological, social and cultural insights understanding human behaviour in extreme events such as the COVID-19 pandemic. In this paper, we use prominent learning-based language models topic taking into account data from emergence (Alpha) to Omicron variant India. Our results show topics extracted subsequent waves had certain overlapping themes governance, vaccination, pandemic management while novel issues aroused political, economic situations during We also find strong correlation between major news media prevalent respective time period. Hence, our framework potential capture arising different phases which be extended other countries regions.
