Climate change traps heat, affecting a variety of species in already dry areas. Severe storms, earthquakes, plagues, and food delivery problems are all exacerbated by climate caused emissions greenhouse gases. The United States, the world's largest economy second-largest carbon emitter is expertly planning to reduce its environmental difficulties help accomplishment Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 7 13. Given that, study explores renewable energy transition, ecological innovation, economic policy uncertainty, globalization from 1990 2019 using novel econometric approaches augmented ARDL gradual shift causality. results show that variables cointegrated, particularly long short term; transition uncertainty emissions, while innovation contributes long-run depletion CO2 emission. Globalization significantly accelerates term. Furthermore, causation reveals unidirectional, but bidirectional. Finally, conclusion implies transitioning fossil energy, adequate use technology, efficient management uncertainties may contribute States meeting SDGs

The overwhelming effects of climate change on the living environments has prompted several countries, including India into rolling out different carbon neutrality agenda. On this background, study activated policy framework towards attainment India's 2070 net-zero emission target via energy efficiency. roles green-technology, affluence and population were also rectified. With quarterly series spanning 1997Q1–2021Q4 estimates novel wavelet quantile correlation technique, following insights sufficed. ABSTRACT The adverse effects of climate change on humanity have been escalating due to environmental degradation. Consequently, nations compelled implement measures address climate‐related challenges. Within this framework, traditional and recently acknowledged factors play a pivotal role in achieving SDGs, particularly SDG‐13. This study empirically examines the influence newly recognized factors, such as energy transition index (ETI) policy stringency (EPS), alongside like gross domestic product (GDP), renewable use (REU), foreign direct investments (FDI), environment, measured through ecological footprint load capacity factor. Focusing leading emerging economies—excluding Indonesia Mexico data limitations—the utilizes from 2000 2020 applies kernel‐based regularized least squares (KRLS) approach under marginal effect framework explore nexus. findings indicate that (i) GDP FDI do not exhibit environmentally friendly characteristics across examined countries; (ii) REU contributes preservation only Brazil; (iii) ETI EPS significantly enhance quality any countries studied; (iv) KRLS demonstrates high predictive accuracy, 99.6% success rate various models. Overall, research highlights differential these which vary by factor, percentile, country. Based empirical evidence, discusses implications for five economies effectively pursue SDG‐13 leveraging identified factors.

This study attempts to investigate how Germany's energy transition has affected environmental quality by considering natural resources, economic growth, financial development, and globalization for the period from 1980 2021. It is also aimed discover that interactions alter with different levels of load capacity factor explanatory variables using novel quantile-based approaches. Thanks unique approaches utilized, efficacy process can be determined quantiles time periods. The results reveal although development enhance quality, growth increasing resource rents harms environment. In addition, increase in all a positive effect on capacity. impact weak high low but it becomes more pronounced middle Our offers various policy recommendations short- long-term low-level effectiveness Germany.
