digital
empowerment
can
promote
the
dual-carbon
process
in
agriculture
and
how
its
specific
mechanisms
of
action
work

significant

deserves
in-depth
research.

panel
data

30
provincial-level
regions
China
2012
to
2021,

regional
using
input-output
method.

integration
of
the
digital
economy

rural
development

pivotal

mitigating

emissions

examine
impact
mechanisms
(RDED)
on
agricultural
eco-efficiency
(AEE).
Specifically,
based
provincial-level
panel
data
from
China
spanning
2011
2021,
we
evaluate
China’s
AEE
by
employing
super-efficiency
slacks-based
measure
(Super
SBM)
model,
taking
into
account
positive
externality
sinks.
Then
analyze
RDED
using
two-way
fixed
effects
model.

indicate

promotes
AEE,

conclusion

robust
even
after
being
tested
replacing
explained
variable,
