Despite the increasing need for Post-Disaster and Post-Conflict (PDPC) sheltering, rising number of humanitarian architects, there is a vague understanding how “sustainable” shelters in PDPC situations are being addressed literature. Therefore, this paper aims at mapping analyzing current status development trends research that associates sustainability during past four decades (1982–2022) using bibliometric analysis. This was fulfilled VOSviewer to identify visualize literature trends, active journals, productive authors, contributing countries, influential institutions, keyword networks. The findings identified phases process: no recognition (1982–2002), initiation (2003–2012), rapid growth (2013–2017), accelerated (2018–2022). In terms publications, “International Journal Disaster Risk Reduction” “Sustainability” key journals publishing field, whereas Gibson Habert most authors. United States America found be leading country albeit Université de Montréal Canada institutions. study suggests promotion social economic standards addition environmental while developing sustainable shelter solutions. It also advises professionals from both public private sectors improve their collaborations with all related stakeholders.
