Abstract The auspicious merits of polysaccharides make them eminent choices in numerous fields, particularly water remediation. Nonetheless, like chitosan (CTS) suffer from low adsorbability. Meanwhile, the recent revolution material science has produced substances with supreme adsorbability, such as metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). Consequently, Fe/MOF-5@CTS composite film was synthesized by doping a amount (5 wt%) Fe/MOF-5 into CTS film. crystallinity, morphology, composition, and surface charge were identified using multiple characterization analyses. Furthermore, adsorption property examined for removal Congo red (CR). Surprisingly, Q max CR onto reached 219.78 mg/g. The magnetic mesoporous hydrogel-based nanoadsornet was prepared by adding the ex situ Fe3O4 nanoparticles (MNPs) and bentonite clay into three-dimentional (3D) cross-linked pectin hydrogel substrate for adsorption of organophosphorus chlorpyrifos (CPF) pesticide crystal violet (CV) organic dye. Different analytical methods were utilized to confirm structural features.
