Abstract The auspicious merits of polysaccharides make them eminent choices in numerous fields, particularly water remediation. Nonetheless, like chitosan (CTS) suffer from low adsorbability. Meanwhile, the recent revolution material science has produced substances with supreme adsorbability, such as metal-organic frameworks (MOFs). Consequently, Fe/MOF-5@CTS composite film was synthesized by doping a amount (5 wt%) Fe/MOF-5 into CTS film. crystallinity, morphology, composition, and surface charge were identified using multiple characterization analyses. Furthermore, adsorption property examined for removal Congo red (CR). Surprisingly, Q max CR onto reached 219.78 mg/g. Additionally, only lost 18.54% its capacity after ten cycles. selectivity test demonstrated higher positively charged-rich towards anionic dyes, especially CR, compared to cationic dyes. Based on practical experiments analysis tools, mechanism is presumed occur via electrostatic, host-guest, π-π interaction, coordination bonds.

The magnetic mesoporous hydrogel-based nanoadsornet was prepared by adding the ex situ Fe3O4 nanoparticles (MNPs) and bentonite clay into three-dimentional (3D) cross-linked pectin hydrogel substrate for adsorption of organophosphorus chlorpyrifos (CPF) pesticide crystal violet (CV) organic dye. Different analytical methods were utilized to confirm structural features. Based on obtained data, zeta potential nanoadsorbent in deionized water with a pH 7 - 34.1 mV, surface area measured be 68.90 m2/g. novelty owes possessing reactive functional group containing heteroatom, porous structure that aids convenient contaminants molecules diffusion interactions between contaminants, viz., CPF CV. main driving forces Pectin hydrogel@Fe3O4-bentonite adsorbent are electrostatic hydrogen-bond interactions, which resulted great capacity. To determine optimum conditions, effective factors capacity CV CPF, including solution pH, dosage, contact time, initial concentration pollutants, have been experimentally investigated. Thus, i.e., time (20 15 min), 8, dosage (0.005 g), (50 mg/L), T (298 K) CV, respectively, 833.333 mg/g 909.091 mg/g. presented high porosity, enhanced area, numerous sites using inexpensive available materials. Moreover, Freundlich isotherm has described procedure, pseudo-second-order model explained kinetics. novel magnetically isolated reused three successive adsorption-desorption runs without specific reduction efficiency.
