Abstract Financial integration plays an important role in fostering global economic growth. Energy demand, technology transfer, sustainable production, and climate change have emerged as key drivers of development. This study explores the influence financial integration, bolstered by renewable energy-induced trade, industry-driven technology, environmental concerns, on regional analyzes a panel 39 high- upper-middle-income European Central Asian countries 2017–2021. Using generalized method moments estimator, we reveal inverted U-shaped relationship between growth carbon emissions. Moreover, trade contributes positively to while openness transfer further enhance this Industry-driven negatively impacts owing inadequate integration. The absence energy infrastructure industrialization also Our underscores importance increasing promote energy-driven line with United Nations’ development agenda.

Numerous Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations can't be completed without switching to alternative energy sources. Countries need find common ground between security, affordability, accessibility, and environmental sustainability if they are lay groundwork for competition success. Considering connection economic growth, nuclear power generation, renewable consumption, non-renewable usage, this study examines ecological footprints of leading energy-producing countries ( States, France, China, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Canada, Ukraine, Kingdom, Germany) from 1990 2020. In order perform such a thorough empirical investigation, makes use advanced econometric methods. According long-term cointegration study, quality is negatively impacted growth energy, while it positively square energy. The found that footprint directly correlated with both growth. Meanwhile, sources were have an effect on in causal manner. findings emphasize significance world's major producing harmonizing their policies developing strategy includes equitable distribution key components global sector.

ABSTRACT Environmental issues are significant challenges for China's growth, with green development being crucial. The Huai He River Ecological and Economic Belt (EEB), a vital north–south economic corridor, plays key role in demonstrating ecological civilization regional coordinated development, essential eco‐progress. This study uses the super‐SBM‐DEA model to measure efficiency (GDE) of EEB from 2005 2020, introducing innovative input–output indicators like technological innovation, industrial, environmental, social gains. It analyzes GDE multiple angles using Malmquist index, Moran Durbin model, examining temporal spatial evolution influencing factors EEB. Four findings emerge: (1) EEB's level trends upward, western urban areas showing superior sustainable growth environmental compared east. (2) Technological progress is primary driver improving (3) agglomeration levels increasing. (4) innovation significantly influences GDE, while digital economy regulation promote it. Conversely, single energy structure, urbanization, foreign investment negatively impact whereas industrial structure enhancement positively affect region's but may adversely neighboring areas. recommends strategies advance premium quality EEB, tailored its characteristics.

Rural green development is a concrete practice of rural revitalization. Currently, research on quantitative evaluation methods for levels are not well developed. In this study, an model the level in Chongqing City, China was developed based parameters ecology, living, and production. An entropy weight method, Theil index, optimal scale regression model, GIS were used to analyze spatio-temporal characteristics, trends, influencing factors from 2018 2020 City. The results showed that: (1) overall “ecology, production” dimensions comprehensive index city generally increasing, proportion counties at high-level increased 23.68% 81.58% 2020; (2) 0.0185, 0.0121, 0.0114 2018, 2019, respectively, indicating that differences among regions decreased as increased; (3) clear upwards trend, with low-speed growth, medium-speed high-speed growth 5.26%, 81.58%, 13.16%, respectively; (4) analysis greater impacts social security employment expenditure government finance, health their contributions 40.3% 26%, respectively. study demonstrate significance exploring ways improve development.

Measuring industrial eco-efficiency (IEE) is essential to improve environmental quality and restructuring. However, most studies ignore the influence of embeddedness on lack analysis pathways factors. Therefore, this study assesses in Yellow River Basin (YRB) using a super-efficiency model slacks-based measure (Super-SBM) that considers non-desired outputs, outlines social IEE, empirically analyzes driving mechanism IEE from perspective by constructing hierarchical linear modeling (HLM) address action influencing factors eco-efficiency. The results showed 50.79% overall differences YRB were caused embeddedness. Economic development level, agglomeration, regulation (ER) are significant direct Increasing cognitive cultural will enhance positive relationship between economic level IEE. Political relational significantly moderates agglomeration Cultural can directly affect weaken ERs improving should consider both fundamental embedded Our findings conducive promoting high-quality support government formulating differentiated policies.
