We examine the impact of climate change on energy security risk and explore role clean investment in reducing this impact. By exploiting a recently developed historical dataset alongside datasets, we demonstrate that enhances risk. Additionally, show can reduce This mitigating effect is more pronounced countries with slower population growth, capacity to invest robust infrastructures, lower corruption practices. To optimize change, it crucial establish systems, control maintain higher environmental standards, limit practices, among other measures.

The urgent need to address climate change and the depletion of natural resources has led governments worldwide allocate significant towards research development in clean energy technologies efficiency. This study evaluates effectiveness renewable efficiency initiatives reducing CO 2 emissions, taking into account influences resource availability political risk.Using data from France spanning 1985 2021, we employ kernel-based regularized least squares (KRLS) methodology, complemented by quantile regression (QR), analyse these relationships. Our findings indicate that policies promoting green have a positive impact on emissions. However, risk exacerbate environmental challenges increasing emissions. Thus, our underscores importance continued support policymakers for effectively pursue Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).Additionally, as world prepares COP28, emphasize urgency meeting global targets.
