With the emergence of human-centered urban development goals and increasing pursuit a better quality life, architectural façades cities are receiving growing attention. However, during process development, often experience physical disorder. This phenomenon tends to be overlooked in targeted management practices or lacks cohesive renewal planning at macro scale. oversight can negatively impact livability attractiveness region. study aims quantify encountered daily by residents measuring disorder inform using deep learning space syntax. First, streetscape images were collected Baidu Maps Street View service. Subsequently, an evaluation system for was developed, machine employed conduct high-resolution measurements assessments these façades. Simultaneously, street network data is extracted analyzed syntax accessibility architecture on each street. Finally, integrating analysis accessibility, identifies priority areas building renewal, thus providing decision-support tool sustainable planning. Overall, paper presents innovative method that combines image data, learning, syntax-derived quadrant analysis. It offers designers decision makers new perspectives enhances focusing condition façades, thereby making more aligned with actual needs city dwellers.

Ecologically fragile areas are confronted with the contradiction between economic development and ecological protection, especially in Tuha region (Turpan Hami), where extremely vulnerable environment limits local sustainable development. To address this, this study utilizes POI (Point of Interest) data, land use, socioeconomic statistical data to achieve spatial quantification indicators on a kilometer grid scale, constructing multi-factor, multi-dimensional evaluation system for effects based SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals). The entropy method, comprehensive coupling coordination degree model, geographical detector method used analyze relationships systems at different scales factors influencing system’s degree. results indicate that from 2010 2020, economic, social, region, as well their scores, exhibited similarity. showed an upward trend, social displayed inverted U-shaped trend rising then declining, while presented declining increasing. At county closely approximates index, showing continuous trajectory. Compared Turpan city, Hami Yizhou district, exhibits best degree, growth is most significant Gaochang district. main grain production GDP (gross domestic product). This provides new perspective indicators, which great significance balancing protection promoting coupled coordinated society, economy, ecology ecologically areas.

The ecological landscape design of urban rivers plays a crucial role in mitigating the heat island effect and preserving ecology. This study focuses on construction process data key nodes along Nanjing’s rivers. By employing whole life cycle emergy approach carbon emission method, sustainable changes system are quantitatively assessed. Furthermore, artificial neural networks have been used to conduct long-term sustainability analysis predictions for system. research findings reveal that over time, maintenance investment projects gradually becomes dominant, increasing from 2% first year approximately 75% after 30 years. phenomenon signifies decline efficiency Sustaining balance necessitates continuous inputs material flow, energy information flow. major contributors emissions engineering diesel fuel, cement, steel. highlights opportunities improvement low-carbon perspective. To enhance waterfront landscapes, three measures proposed: sponge city concepts, coupled sewage treatment systems, flow monitoring systems. effectiveness these was preliminarily validated.

The rapid pace of urbanisation has heightened the need for sustainable urban regeneration projects on a global scale. These primarily aim to address increasing demand buildings and cultivate liveable environments. Over years, substantial amount data been collected analysed as result various efforts. indicate that success transformation is influenced by wide range interconnected factors rather than mere creation new areas meet demand. primary objective this study carry out comprehensive systematic literature review assesses effectiveness (SUR) projects. This examines existing factors, including policies, management practices, economic considerations, while also highlighting frequently overlooked elements such climate change. Moreover, investigates how these influence SUR initiatives seeks identify their overall impact Specifically, it explores common challenges encountered, criteria performance evaluation, strategies lead successful emphasising interconnections. An in-depth assessment provided, focusing indicators across multiple dimensions: social, cultural, economic, environmental, physical. A novel organisation involving all stakeholders addressing change proposed ensure Lastly, findings highlight gaps in current literature, offering valuable insights future research identifying potential directions further exploration.

With the development of urban economy and population growth, demand for construction land continues to rise. Addressing challenges protection ecological security calls exploration new approaches. This study emphasizes a sustainable solution by emphasizing in-depth existing resources, moving away from traditional “expanding pie” model development. Specifically, we selected parcels in Shenzhen city 2010 2020 that met criteria renewal transformation as evaluation units, further categorized into residential, industrial, commercial transformation. From multiple perspectives, including geological conditions, building agglomeration, social factors, degree completeness public facilities, constructed an system comprising 23 indicators quantify potential these units. Through AET (AHP-EWM-TOPSIS) analysis assessing transformation, classified different levels based on optimized solutions model. Finally, validated results using planned units implemented 2020, achieving accuracy 81% matching spatial distribution with actual situation. The comprehensive provide basis optimizing enhancing renewal. research contributes formulation informed decisions strategic planning, enabling more cautious resource-efficient approach address expansion.

The aim of this paper is to evaluate the coupled coordination degree climate, environmental, socio-economic, and ecosystem resilience in Zhejiang Province from 2010 2022 propose optimization strategies. With increasing impact global climate change, need explore construction resilient cities sustainable development models has become increasingly pressing. Assessing among environment, aids suggesting more precise effective social ecological recovery strategies context change. Province, serving as a model for China’s urbanization development, demonstrates balance between natural economic growth, but still suffers environmental pollution problems. In study, an evaluation system was constructed utilizing entropy weight method (EWM), empirically analyzed over period 2022. results show that (1) climatic-environmental, subsystems generally upward trend, despite fluctuations different periods. (2) climatic-environmental-social-ecological increased whole, six (Hangzhou: 0.805, Quzhou: 0.811, Huzhou: 0.827, Taizhou: 0.829, Wenzhou: 0.856, Jinhua: 0.857) reached “well-coordinated” level by 2022; however, coupling Jiaxing City Lishui decreased good intermediate coordination. (3) stagnated each city during 2020–2022. Thus, change adaptation strategy proposed study aims enhance urban adaptive capacity impacts controlling pollutant emissions, restoring ecosystems, optimizing industrial structures, designing green spaces.
