Abstract Due to the ongoing challenges posed by climate change and environmental degradation, developing nations are pursuing initiatives mitigate carbon emissions at net zero achieve sustainability objectives. To attain these objectives, it is necessary shift from conventional energy sources green sources. This research paper examines dynamic role of market pricing in sustainable pathways for attaining net-zero South Asian countries including India, Malaysia, Pakistan, Bangladesh. The study utilizes Autoregressive Distributed Lag simulations (DARDLS) technique panel data spanning 1990 2018. findings reveal a positive correlation between development short run, with reverse effects long run. Furthermore, there an inverse relationship prices, emissions, which strengthens over time. Based on results, suggests that Asia region especially susceptible impacts change. Therefore, governments should consider implementing favourable policies support development, providing financial assistance, offering subsidies technology, reducing tariffs, establishing strong frameworks government regulations.

The environmental degradation in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region leads to significant challenges regarding economic sustainability attainment of sustainable development goals (SDGs). extensive use fossil fuels region, as well rapid urbanization growth, has led carbon emissions, together with unprecedented ecological footprints compromising sustainability. study aims elucidate influence exerted by technological innovation, trade openness, natural resources on Turkey Egypt for period 1990–2022. In assessing empirical relations, employed Fourier function incorporate estimation techniques, that is, ADF unit root test, ARDL, NARDL long-run short-run elasticities innovation (TI), openness (TO,) rent (NRR) load capacity factor (LCF) inverted LCF (ILCF); finally, directional causality evaluate through TY test. results revealed both have severe problems due their high emissions footprints. Technological change international separately negatively affect sustainability; however, these negative impacts mixed character. On one hand, technology can improve efficiency reduce obviating high-impact processes or allowing cleaner production systems. same vein, helps transfer green technologies more quickly, but it also lead unsustainable resource extraction pollution. findings paper propose order move forward, need strategic policy shifts ensure sustainability, including transitioning towards renewable energy from while bolstering efficiency. Policymakers must balance conservation harmful effects climate help safeguard continued survival face increasing climatic instability. This research inform investment decisions about how SDGs be achieved they are relevant MENA region.
