In the last century, human activities were primary cause of air, water, and soil contamination. However, in twenty-first while pollutants like sulfur oxides (SOx) nitrogen (NOx) remain significant, microplastics (MPs) have emerged as a new global environmental concern. Microplastics are plastic fragments that less than 5 mm diameter. Their widespread distribution aquatic terrestrial ecosystems has adverse impacts on various ecological systems. The presence MPs been well documented diverse matrices, such table salt, drinking indoor outdoor beer, cold drinks, organisms, plants, earthworms. potential effects consumption reported including earthworms fishes; however, their health through respiratory, dietary, other exposures still being elucidated. This review provides comprehensive overview current knowledge sources, quantities present possible routes body different trophic levels. Furthermore, this paper reviews insights into movement accumulation at levels (i.e., aquatic, organisms) cycling carbon nutrients (nitrogen phosphorus). Additionally, addresses trends research proposes strategic management techniques to mitigate pollution.

Abstract The potentially harmful effects of consuming toxic elements (PTEs) and microplastics (MPs) regularly via drinking water are a significant cause for worry. This study investigated PTEs (Cd, Cu, Cr, Ni, Pd, Zn, Co), MPs, turbidity, pH, conductivity, health risk assessment in the treatment plant Kielce, Poland. Zn had highest concentrations throughout facility, whereas Cd, Pb, Co lower (<0.1 μg/L). order among specified was like Zn˃Cu˃Ni˃Cr˃Cd˃Pb Co. minimum turbidity 0.34, maximum 1.9 NTU. range pH samples 6.51 - 7.47. conductivity 1,203 1,445 ms samples. These identified MPs were categorized into fiber fragments. color these blue, red, black, green, transparent. size 196 4,018 μm, while average 2,751 22 ± 1,905 μm. concentration per liter 108.88 55.61. listed C, O, Na, Mg, Al, Si, K, Ca, Ti. Fe predominant seen using EDX. HQ values less than one adults children. human associated with all detected revealed that exhibit satisfactory degree non-carcinogenic adverse risk. HI children age groups one. In most samples, carcinogenic value exceeds threshold 10−6. MP recommended to be periodically monitored minimize consumers' environmental pollution risks.

Extensive research has made significant progress in exploring the potential application of extracellular vesicles (EV) diagnosis and treatment osteoarthritis (OA). However, there is current a lack study on bibliometrics. In this study, we completed novel bibliometric analysis EV OA over past two decades. Specifically, identified total 354 relevant publications obtained between January 1, 2003 December 31, 2022. We also provided description distribution information regarding countries or regions publication, institutions involved, journals, authors, citations, keywords. The primary focuses encompassed role OA, delivery active ingredients, strategies, cartilage repair. These findings highlight latest frontiers emerging areas, providing valuable insights for further investigations context osteoarthritis.
