Abstract This study aims to transform post-consumer textile waste (cellulosic materials) into viscose fiber using a xanthation technique, as well develop value-added antibacterial chitosan functionalized (CFV) for biomedical applications (e.g., sanitary pad) through an economic up-cycling wet spinning integrated coating approach. Surface morphology (SEM), FTIR, XRD, mechanical, thermal, and properties (both gram-positive gram-negative bacteria) were investigated the CFV fiber. The Degree of Polymerization (DP) raw (RV) was approximately 782 ± 35, comparable DP commercial fibers. surface is uneven, hazy, rough, its average diameter 15.65 1.75 μm, which higher than fibers have stronger strength RV fibers, demonstrated by creation hydrogen bonds with fundamental reason strength.. Overall, effects (zone inhibition) against E. c oli, S.Typhi, S.aureus are 17 1.2 mm, 13 0.8 10 1.1 respectively. However, development process results confirm successful formation highlight potential sustainable compared other alternatives.

Abstract Urea used in fertilization and feed supplement, as well a starting material for the manufacture of plastics drugs. is most commonly produced by reacting carbon dioxide with ammonia at high temperature. Photocatalysis has gained attention sustainable pathway performing urea. This work focus on designing very active photocatalysts based cerium organic framework (Ce-BTC) doped metal oxide nanoparticles (molybdenum permanganate, Mo(MnO 4 ) 5 production urea from coupling dioxide. The prepared materials were characterized using different spectral analysis morphology was analysed microscopic data. effect catalyst loading rate investigated obtained results showed speed yield low recyclability tests confirmed sustainability photocatlysts (Mo(MnO @Ce-BTC) which supported beneficial photocatalysis process production.

Abstract Nowadays, manufacturing of ultraviolet (UV) protective textiles is quite interesting for the outdoor workers to protect their bodies from harmful radiation. Herein, first time, durable UV-protective cotton were produced by modification with mixed metal–Ce organic framework. Cotton was interacted 1,2,4-tricarboxybenzene-2,4-anhydride through benzylation reaction. The benzylated (BTC–C = O@Cotton) then reacted two metal salts including Cerium salt obtain Ce–M–BTC–C O@Cotton. estimated contents Ce and within O@Cotton 3.3% 0.4%, respectively. color turned bluish-green color, greenish-yellow reddish after incorporation Ce–Cu–BTC, Ce–Ni–BTC Ce–Co–BTC, all-modified fabrics exhibited UV-blocking character good excellent, depending on inserted metal. measured UV-protection factor (UPF) 34.7 (very good) Ce–Cu–BTC–C O@Cotton, 43.1 (excellent) Ce–Ni–BTC–C 26.4 (good) Ce–Zn–BTC–C 33.3 Ce–Co–BTC–C After 5 washing cycles, showed UV protection. mechanical properties not significantly affected Ce–M–BTC.

The degradation of atrazine (ATZ) was studied in the presence β-cyclodextrin (β-CD) under ultraviolet light irradiation. β-CD characterized by modern analytical techniques and different operating parameters photodegradation were investigated. Thus, catalyst effectively used remediation pesticide-contaminated wastewater.
