A covalent adaptable network (CAN) elastomer with a well-defined structure was fabricated by end-linking monodisperse star polymers via associative dynamic bonds (DCBs). Monodisperse 4-arm star-shaped polyesters vinyl end groups were synthesized and end-linked an olefin metathesis reaction, yielding uniform chain length between cross-links. The endowed the good mechanical properties. remaining C═C in could exchange metathesis, rendering reconfigurable. As result, showed stress relaxation thermally reprocessable. Moreover, chemically degradable into un-cross-linked under mild conditions through bond exchange. This study demonstrates robustness dynamicity rubbery materials combination of DCBs.
