Problematic online behaviours are a concern among university students. Although previous research has identified that psychological distress, cognitive distortions, conscientiousness and neuroticism traits, motor impulsivity, emotion regulation strategies have significant direct effect on generalised problematic Internet use (GPIU), social media (PSMU), gaming (POG), it is still necessary to determine the extent which these factors, taken together, associated with each of behaviours. In sample 690 Spanish students, present study examined relationship factors GPIU, PSMU, POG. Correlation regression analyses were performed. Results reported (1) high low trait impulsivity common GPIU but not POG; (2) levels distortions reappraisal PSMU (3) expressive suppression had no any three The findings will help develop effective prevention intervention for behaviour in context.
