Abstract Musa sp. cultivar Rasthali (Silk AAB) is a choice variety of the Asian sub-continent. Its production and sustenance are threatened by Fusarium wilt, which affects livelihoods small marginal farmers. The use quality planting material one strategies to manage disease. Availability for varieties other than Grand Naine limited. Large-scale micropropagation using existing technologies laborious expensive. Temporary immersion bioreactor system emerging as potential advancement in industry. In this study, cost-effective temporary (TIB) has been developed an efficient method standardized. Explants cultured TIB with 250 ml culture medium 2-min frequency 6 h were found be shoot proliferation rooting. efficacy compared semisolid method. At end 6th subculture, 1496 ± 110 shoots per explant obtained TIB. Chlorophyll, carotenoid, stomatal index, number closed stomata examined determine physiological functions plants grown plantlets. Plantlets genetically stable confirmed inter-simple sequence repeat (ISSR) markers. multiplication was 2.7-fold higher method, suitable large-scale commercial applications.

In the last decades, lighting installations in plant tissue culture have generally been renewed or designed based on LED technology. Thanks to this, many different light quality advances are available but, with their massive implementation, same issue is occurring as 1960s appearance of Grolux (Sylvania) fluorescent tubes: there a lack methodological standardization lighting. This review analyzes main parameters and variables that must be taken into account design LED-based systems, how these need described quantified order homogenize standardize experimental conditions obtain reproducible comparable results conclusions. We an system which values physical environment microenvironment behavior cultures maintained cabins illuminated two designs can compared. tubes compared combination monochromatic lamps calibrated provide spectral emission, irradiance similar those generated by previous discharge lamps, achieving both cases wide uniformity radiation shelves cabins. study help understand whether it possible use LEDs one standard source without affecting development previously regulated protocols laboratories. Different LED light spectra (LS) are absorbed by different plant photoreceptors and can control biomass secondary metabolite synthesis. In this study, the effects of continuous-spectrum lights (red, blue, white, red + 12 h blue red) on production value, antioxidant compounds, basil (Ocimum basilicum L.) microgreens (Red Rubin, Violeto, Kapoor cultivars Ablagh genotype) were investigated. The results showed significant LS cultivar (Cv) interaction Cv studied traits. highest quantitys chlorophyll a, total chlorophyll, nitrate obtained in Violeto under lighting. Red lighting enhanced starch synthesis Rubin flavonoids Cv.
