Abstract Solid‐state supercapacitors (SSCs) are emerging as one of the promising energy storage devices due to their high safety, superior power density, and excellent cycling life. However, performance degradation safety issues under extreme conditions main challenges for practical application. With expansion human activities, such space missions, polar exploration, so on, investigation SSC with wide temperature tolerance, sustainability is highly desired. In this review, effects on systematically illustrated clarified, including properties electrolyte, ion diffusion, reaction dynamics supercapacitor.
