This study focuses on the industrial wastewater discharge of 27 cities in Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration. It selects five water pollutant indicators from discharge, including chemical oxygen demand (COD), total nitrogen (TN), phosphorus (TP), petroleum pollutants (PP), and major heavy metal content (HM). A shadow price model for each city agglomeration is constructed, empirical research conducted using government-provided statistical data. The reveals that economic losses associated with range 5.9296 billion to 6.448 yuan. Shanghai demonstrates highest caused by surpassing 0.45 yuan annually. In contrast, Anqing experiences lowest losses, approximately ranging 93 million 104 per year due discharge.

Food industries stand out as significant contributors to industrial wastewater production. The canning industry, with its diverse production processes, presents a challenge in treating due distinctive qualitative characteristics. This study reviews the methods employed for treatment of fish and assesses their efficiency. A search protocol identified 67 articles, ultimately, 25 were selected review. findings highlight that crucial parameters are oil salt, presenting challenges treatment. Oil concentrations reported up 26,800 mg/L, salt 30,000 mg/L. Commonly utilized processes studies encompassed aerobic anaerobic granular sludge, well SHARON/anammox system. While biological constitute primary approach treatment, addressing such high turbidity quality variations requires use salinity-adapted integrated processes.
