In this work, all solid-state Z-scheme Bi2MoO6/Bi2WO6@Ti3C2 MXene photocatalytic system was synthesized by a facile solvothermal method. For comparison, pure Bi2MoO6, Bi2WO6 and Bi2MoO6/Bi2WO6 samples were also synthesized. The structure properties of the as-prepared catalytic materials analyzed X‑ray powder diffraction (XRD), transmission electron microscope (TEM) high-resolution TEM (HRTEM), ultraviolet‑visible diffuse reflection spectroscopy (UV‑Vis DRS), fluorescence (PL), X-ray photoelectron (XPS), N2 adsorption–desorption measurements photoelectrochemical tests, which performed to analyze phase composition, microstructure, morphology, optical properties, recombination rate photogenerated charge samples. Crystal violet (CV)and p-nitrophenol (4-NP) used as pollutants simulate wastewater, degradation activity catalyst evaluated under visible light. After irradiation for 80 min, as-made Bi2MoO6 /Bi2WO6@Ti3C2 has best performance, constant 3~4 folds higher than that or Bi2WO6. Based on experimental characterizations, corresponding mechanism further studied. results showed when introducing 2D Ti3C2 MXene, light absorption range Bi2MoO6/ heterojunctions significantly enhanced, separation charges improved.

Abstract In this study, a novel composite of Iodine-doped bismuth oxybromide (I-BiOBr)/carbon quantum dots was synthesized using simple chemical precipitation method at ambient temperature. The bandgap energy (BiOBr) can be reduced from 2.78 to 2.28 eV by introducing I-ions, aligning it with the upconverted emission spectrum carbon dots. Consequently, photodegradation efficiency I-BiOBr/carbon reached 95% degradation rate for methyl orange after 120 min visible light irradiation, which is 4.2 times than that BiOBr.
