This article presents a case study on the risk assessment of geohazards along Cheng-Kun railway line. passes through region highly varied elevation and faults operation has been frequently interrupted owing to geological disasters. A hybrid method via integrating triangular fuzzy number (TFN) analytic hierarchy process (AHP) (here after simply call TFN-AHP) into geographic information system (GIS) is employed in this perform assessment. The results showed that TFN-AHP with GIS can effectively predict distribution within last 10 years. also more efficient identifying high-risk areas compared using original AHP. Based results, prospective management measures prevent are recommended.
