Heavy metal pollution is today's most critical element, threatening the atmosphere and health. Lithium (Li), a heavy metal, has recently been extensively used in various industrial areas poses risk to environmental health, including human It well-known that metals can be much more harmful when taken into tissues via inhalation. Therefore, tracking decreasing alteration Li contamination airborne essential. The current study aimed define whether Pseudotsuga menziesii Cedrus atlantica are suitable for monitoring reducing air. Within scope of study, variations concentration depending on organ, direction, age range last 40 years were evaluated species growing Düzce, Türkiye, which amongst 5 contaminated provinces Europe. As result, it was determined region anthropogenic origin both but not use it.

In this study, it was aimed to monitor the change in niobium (Nb) pollution, one of heavy metals that can be harmful and toxic for human environmental health, determine usability Robinia pseudoacacia Cedrus atlantica species, which were determined biomonitors, reducing Nb pollution.Within scope samples taken from main stem atlantica, grow under similar growing conditions Düzce province, is among 5 most polluted cities Europe according 2021 World Air Pollution report, concentrations determined. As a result suitable monitoring concentration pollution.

The most important and harmful components of air pollution that affect the health cause death millions people every year around world are heavy metals. Due to their potential harm, monitoring change in concentration metals reducing essential. This study aimed determine usability Cedrus atlantica grown Düzce, where metal is reported be high, for lithium air. For this purpose, Li annuals Düzce was evaluated 60-year period. As a result study, it determined region has increased significantly last decade. highest values were generally obtained north direction, interpreted as originating from highway i.e., traffic. very suitable species pollution.

Heavy metal pollution is one of the most critical environmental problems threatening environment and human health. Therefore, studies on monitoring reducing heavy are among prioritized study topics. Plants effective tools to monitor reduce pollution. However, potential accumulation in various organs plants quite different. it necessary determine suitable species for this purpose have information transfer metals plant way entry into plant. In study, concentrations Gallium, dangerous health, were evaluated at different soil depths soils where Pinus nigra Arnold., sylvestris L., Fagus orientalis Libsky. Abies nordmanniana subsp. bornmülleriana Mattf. grow leaves, bark, wood, cones, root organs. As a result there was no statistically significant difference between terms mean values Gallium concentrations. contrast, highest importance basis obtained The lowest Regarding organs, wood roots.

Environmental pollution has increased significantly in the current century due to various anthropogenic effects, especially industrial activities, mining, urbanization, and traffic. Significantly increasing air become a global problem that causes millions of people die yearly. Heavy metals, most dangerous harmful components pollution, do not easily deteriorate disappear nature. They can be carried far from their source, tend bioaccumulate living organisms, some toxic, carcinogenic, fatal even at low concentrations for humans animals. Therefore, monitoring change heavy metal is critical. One effective methods determining concentration changes atmosphere past present using annual rings trees as biomonitors. In this study, variation Li concentrations, which one metals terms human environmental health, last 180 years, was tried determined by Corylus colurna L. tree rings, cut end 2020 Kastamonu province, Türkiye. Within scope, bark inner were also compared with woods, directional evaluated. As result, there significant difference between wood (p<0.05) except north direction element, obtained woods much higher than those bark. all directions, west direction, (p<0.05). However, generally varies narrow range, interpreted element being transferred C. colurna.
