Background: Women with metastatic breast cancer (mBC) may experience several symptoms exacerbated by successive treatments. There is however, a lack of knowledge the most important and how these affect daily life function. This study aims to elucidate quality (QoL), including both functions, among mBC women undergoing varied Methodology: We conducted cross-sectional electronic questionnaire enrolling (≥ stage III) receiving medical treatment through September–December 2023. QoL, symptoms, function were measured using European Organization for Research Treatment Cancer (EORTC) core (QLQ-C30) module (BR45). Health-related (HRQoL), defined EORTC, covers subjective perceptions positive negative aspects patients’ physical, emotional, social, cognitive functions. examined associations between line therapy types, estimated odds ratios (ORs) confidence intervals (CIs). Results: Of 359 eligible participants, 111 responded (30.9%). At commencement, 90.9% participants received at least one type systemic treatment, 16.2% chemotherapy, 61.3% anti-hormonal 66.6% targeted treatment. QLQ-C30 sum scores highest in (80.7, interquartile range [IQR]: 17.6), followed (78.8, IQR: 18.4), lowest chemotherapy (77.1, 24.8). Quality decreased subsequent lines (first line: 80.3, 20.7, fourth 67.4, 11.3). No significant differences found functions or individual according monotherapy type. Interpretation: substantial symptom burden reduced functioning, their QoL differs underlines that living need support effective management maintain QoL.
