Solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) are efficient electrochemical energy device that converts the chemical of fuels directly into electricity. It has a high power and density sustainable source energy. The electrode (cathode anode) materials essential for operation SOFCs. Several have been studied in last two decades, mainly perovskite materials. investigated resulted improved performance SOFCs, increased commercial viability, reduced operational costs. However, sustainability most material compositions (heteroatoms) used as electrodes SOFCs never investigated. present study examines recent progress, challenges, constraints associated with development from perspective. Heteroatoms majorly employed doping materials' long-term availability on earth's surface was established. also provides an overview current state symmetrical solid cells. This is intended to address complexities different anode cathode.
