Biomimetic design has emerged as a valuable approach to enhance the physical and mechanical performance of materials structures. As commonly observed object in nature, leaves have inspired numerous interesting practical applications. In this work, through experimental measurements on leaves, we revealed that angle between secondary primary veins is ∼50°, feature remarkably widespread nature. Furthermore, based principle energy minimization, elucidated 50° minimizes bending veins, thereby explaining its prevalence We then designed plate structure analogous leaf venation discovered with (mimicking venation) exhibited 60% higher flexural resistance compared 90° angle. This significant enhancement attributed contribution from vein-like components. The findings study hold promising implications for guiding large-area structures enhanced
