Abstract Background Our aim was to investigate oral health in newly diagnosed head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC) patients relation long-term survival. ABSTRACT Oral epithelial dysplasia (OED) is the primary histological marker for assessing progression of oral potentially malignant disorders (OPMDs) to cancer. Despite challenges in grading and low inter‐pathologist reproducibility, OED severity remains key predictor transformation.
