Effective differentiation of the infection stages omicron can provide significant assistance in transmission control and treatment strategies. The combination LIBS serum detection machine learning methods, as a novel disease auxiliary diagnostic approach, has high potential for rapid accurate staging classification Omicron infection. However, conventional single-spectrometer methods focus on detecting spectra major elements, while trace elements are more closely related to progression COVID-19. Here, we proposed analytical method with dual-spectrometer (DS-LIBS) assisted classify different omicron. DS-LIBS, including broadband spectrometer narrowband spectrometer, enables synchronous collection elemental serum, respectively. By employing RF models, accuracy using data collected from DS-LIBS reach 0.92, compared 0.84 0.73 when LIBS. This improvement highlights efficacy approach. Then, performance four SVM, RF, IGBT, ETree, is compared. ETree demonstrates best, cross-validation test set accuracies 0.94 0.93, Additionally, it achieves 1.00, 0.89 B1-acute, B1-post, B2, B3. The inflammatory reaction and pathogenesis of COVID-19 may be modulated by circulating trace elements (Iron (Fe), Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), Manganese (Mn)) Metallothioneins (MTs). Thus, the present study aimed to investigate their relationship with clinical, biochemical, parameters in patients at early Intensive Care Unit (ICU) phase. Critically ill (n = 86) were monitored from first day ICU admission until third stay. Serum samples used assess mineral levels via Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectrometry (ICP-MS) MT differential pulse voltammetry. Levels Cu MTs significantly decreased after 3 days (p < 0.05), increasing prevalence Cu-deficient values 50% 65.3% 0.015). Fe Zn shown have a predictive value for mortality severity. suggests element deficiency risk factor during treatment COVID-19, as it is related different biochemical clinical parameters, indicating possible beneficial effect restoring proper these micronutrients.

Objective: Various products are used to strengthen immunity in prevention and treatment during the COVID-19 pandemic affecting whole world, which has no cure yet, vaccine just been used. This study was planned learn about supplements by healthcare professionals. Methods: A questionnaire applied physicians, nurses, technicians, secretaries, staff working operating room, intensive care, ward, outpatient clinic e-mail, WhatsApp, or face-to-face interview method. Results: There difference between groups terms of being COVID-19-positive. The most were primarily Mg vitamin D, C, ginger, Zn, turmeric, green tea, complex, thyme, black elderberry (sambucus nigra), propolis, prebiotic/probiotic, acetylsalicylic acid (ASA), cumin (niger sativa), N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), selenium (Se), Coenzyme-Q10, cinnamon, glutathione (GSH) quercetin respectively. No one had alpha lipoic (ALA). that showed significant differences with without propolis ASA. Conclusıon: Since it is not asked when product used, although possible evaluate its effectiveness for preventive therapeutic purposes, known be natural, inexpensive, easily accessible antiviral may preferred.
