Oral squamous cell carcinoma (OSCC) is the most common and lethal type of head neck cancer in world. Variable response acquisition resistance to traditional therapies show that it essential develop novel strategies can provide better outcomes for patient. Understanding cellular molecular mechanisms death control has increased rapidly recent years. Activation pathways, such as emerging forms non-apoptotic programmed death, including ferroptosis, pyroptosis, necroptosis, NETosis, parthanatos, mitoptosis paraptosis, may represent clinically relevant therapeutic opportunities. This systematic review summarizes recently described OSCC, highlighting their potential informing diagnosis, prognosis treatment. Original studies explored any selected deaths OSCC were included. Electronic search, study selection, data collection risk bias assessment tools realized. The literature search was carried out four databases, extracted from 79 articles categorized grouped by death. Ferroptosis, necroptosis represented main studies, with links immunity inflammatory responses, progression OSCC. Harnessing these pathways be useful patient-specific individualized therapy. We perspectives on how different types integrated decision prognosis, treatment

Utilizing transplanted human umbilical cord mesenchymal stem cells (HUMSCs) for cartilage defects yielded advanced tissue regeneration, but the underlying mechanism remain elucidated. Early after HUMSCs delivery to defects, we observed substantial apoptosis. The released apoptotic vesicles (apoVs) of promoted regeneration by alleviating chondro-immune microenvironment. ApoVs triggered M2 polarization in macrophages while simultaneously facilitating chondrogenic differentiation endogenous MSCs. Mechanistically, macrophages, miR-100-5p delivered apoVs activated MAPK/ERK signaling pathway promote polarization. In MSCs, let-7i-5p targeting eEF2K/p38 MAPK axis. Consequently, a cell-free strategy using combined with decellularized extracellular matrix (DCM) scaffold effectively osteochondral defects. Overall, new mechanisms MSCs were unconcealed this study. Moreover, provided novel experimental basis engineering-based utilizing apoVs.

Autophagy, a complex and highly regulated cellular process, is critical for the maintenance of homeostasis by lysosomal degradation debris, intracellular pathogens, dysfunctional organelles. It has become an interesting attractive topic in cancer because its dual role as tumor suppressor cell survival mechanism. As conserved pathway, autophagy strictly diverse non-coding RNAs (ncRNAs), ranging from short flexible miRNAs to lncRNAs even circRNAs, which largely contribute regulatory networks via RNA interactions. The potential roles interactions during autophagy, especially procession further anticancer treatment, will aid our understanding related tumorigenesis treatment. Herein, we mainly summarized autophagy-related mRNAs ncRNAs, also providing RNA–RNA their prognosis, may deepen relationships between various provide new insights into therapeutic strategies personalized medicine.

Objective Melanoma is a skin tumor that poses serious threat to human health. Our study explores the effectiveness and safety of curcumin in treatment melanoma based on animal models, providing evidence-based medical evidence for malignant melanoma. Methods The collected all randomized controlled trial data from establishment database October 2023 mice by searching PubMed, Embase, Cochrane Library. According inclusion exclusion criteria, were extracted quality assessment included studies was performed using SYRCLE (Systematic Review Center Laboratory Experimentation) experiment bias risk tool. RevMan 5.4 Stata 15.1 software used meta-analysis. Results Eighteen trials this with total 185 mouse including 93 experimental group 92 control group. results meta-analysis showed IC 50 (inhibitory concentrations 50%) lower than [standardized mean difference (SMD) = −4.68, 95% confidence interval (CI) (−7.30, −2.06), P < 0.01]; volume significantly smaller [SMD −3.10, CI (−4.45, −1.75), weight −3.01, (−4.81, −1.21), 0.01]. However, there no significant statistical apoptosis rate between 2.27, (−1.39, 5.92), Conclusion Based models meta-analysis, can inhibit growth proliferation mice. may be an effective method treating result still requires further in-depth research.
