The study's goal to assess biochemical variables in blood serum heart tissue female rats as models androgen-induced the impact oxidative stress development cardiovascular characteristics resulting from PCOS. PCOS-induced were treated liquorice root [L.], green tea [GT], marjoram [M.] extracts at 150, 250 100 mg Kg−1 B.W. respectively. Metformin [Met.] 20 kg−1 used standard medication. study employed 36 aged 8-10 weeks. Six [n=6] groups formed. At zero time end trial, was obtained all estimate total cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL-C, LDL-C, VLDL-C, glucose, protein, CRP, glutathione, malondialdehyde, glutathione peroxidase, AST, ALT, ALP, testosterone, estradiol, progesterone CK, LDH, IL-1β TNF-α tissue. In androgen, there has been rise measured parameters except progesterone, GSH, GSH-Px and, increased again three extracts-treated groups. M. extract more active than GT L. improvement [CV] parameters. Since LDH regained normal values. conclusion, demonstrated that M., GT, can decrease negative effects particular on features, treating these herbs recommended.
