ABSTRACT Objective Evidence suggests that exercise timing is crucial in reducing the impact of traumatic brain injury (TBI). The present study explores effects delayed and early on damage, cognitive dysfunction, anxiety behavior using an experimental TBI model. Methods We randomly assigned 36 male rats to six groups: control (sham, TBI), treadmill (24hA, 1‐month 24 h after 1WA (1‐month 1 week 1MB before 1MBA TBI). Results caused significant impairments behaviors, as well increased edema ( p < 0.05). groups showed improvement following order for impairments: > 24hA 1MB. Compared group, starting (24hA) significantly improved all variables except behavior. Exercise was more effective than other 0.05) problems, anxious behavior, damage. Conclusion Regular or a consistent routine TBI, such athletes, may provide most benefits from intervention TBI. Starting soon (within h) help protect against improve learning memory by cell death specific regions (CA1 CA3) also decreasing TNF‐α MDA compared later (1 after).

ABSTRACT Background Asthma is a common chronic respiratory disease, and its potential association with the central nervous system has garnered increasing attention in recent years. While observational studies suggest that asthma may affect hippocampal structure function through mechanisms such as inflammation hypoxia, causal relationship remains unclear. Methods In this study, we employed two‐sample Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis, utilizing large‐scale genome‐wide study (GWAS) data to systematically investigate between volume. Data from GWAS of involving 155,386 individuals European ancestry imaging‐derived phenotypes (IDPs) volume 33,219 were analyzed. Results The results revealed significant negative correlation multiple IDPs ( P FDR < 0.05), indicating contribute reduced We identified 19 independent SNPs significantly associated 5×10⁻⁸), which 16 retained after clumping (r 2 0.001) harmonization. Sensitivity analyses no heterogeneity or horizontal pleiotropy, reverse MR analysis did not support effect on asthma. Conclusion Our provides genetic evidence for changes volume, highlighting need closer monitoring intervention neurocognitive health patients clinical practice. Future should explore brain structural across different racial groups subtypes, well underlying biological mechanisms.

Abstract Ethanol can directly or indirectly lead to cognitive and mental disorders. The long‐term intake of alcohol affect the distribution gut microbiota. Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) is a natural bacterium isolated from healthy human intestines that has function preventing cytokine‐induced cell apoptosis protecting barriers. However, regulatory effect LGG on disorders caused by chronic ethanol exposure (CEE) still unclear. In this study, we established CEE mouse model through free consumption added antibiotics in later stages model. Sequencing analysis 16S rRNA gene showed resulted decrease abundance diversity microbial communities accompanied alterations relative multiple enterobacterial genera. use alleviated depression‐like behaviour impairment CEE‐induced mice, reduced expression inflammatory factors such as interleukin (IL)‐6, IL‐1β tumour necrosis factor (TNF)‐α ileum, serum brain increased synaptophysin (SYN), postsynaptic density protein‐95 (PSD‐95) brain‐derived neurotrophic (BDNF) hippocampus. Together, alleviate mice while also improving memory functions reducing peripheral nervous system inflammation balancing

Abstract Background The hippocampus is susceptible to damage, leading negative impacts on cognition. Conditioned medium (CM) obtained from adipose tissue–derived mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs) and acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) have shown neuroprotective effects independently. This study explored the synergistic potential of ASA CM adipose‐derived MSCs against hippocampal injury. Methods Adult male Wistar rats received bilateral ethidium bromide (EB) injections induce damage. Rats were treated with and/or derived tissue every 48 h for 16 days. Behavioral tests (open field test, Morris water maze, novel object recognition, passive avoidance), oxidative stress, Western blot analysis brain‐derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) cerebral dopamine (CDNF) expression, histological investigation conducted. Results Administration EB caused impairments in spatial, avoidance memory, as well heightened reduced BDNF/CDNF pyramidal cell loss CA1 region. ASA, CM, or a combination both mitigated these damages cognitive deficits, elevated BDNF CDNF levels, alleviated necrosis by EB. Moreover, co‐administering resulted greater improvements spatial memory compared administering alone, suggesting possible interactions. Conclusions ability MSCs, their therapy alleviate injuries highlights promising therapeutic neuroprotection strategy brain Our findings provide preliminary evidence which warrants further investigations.
