The low follow-up compliance of young and middle-aged patients with newly diagnosed pulmonary nodules warrants attention, primarily due to a series factors such as occupational, familial, social pressures. Enhancing adherence is essential for preventing nodule progression reducing lung cancer mortality. Existing research indicates that intolerance uncertainty closely associated patients' compliance; however, further in-depth investigation into its influencing mechanisms potential improvement strategies required. This study conducted questionnaire survey among 319 nodules, examining the moderating effect self-compassion on investigating chain intermediary role negative interpretation bias trust in linking compliance. found women, urban residents, over 50 years old demonstrated relatively higher Intolerance was negatively predict indirectly influenced behavior through mediating effects trust. Furthermore, significantly moderated relationship between findings provide solid theoretical foundation developing multidimensional interventions targeting both protective risk factors. Specifically, mitigating impact can improve long-term patient health outcomes. novel application mediation model provides valuable insights future clinical practice, particularly enhancing engagement care. Future longitudinal studies are needed explore additional validate these findings.

The current pilot study assessed adherence to intervention, preliminary benefits, satisfaction acceptability app among Brazilian Methods employed pre-experimental single-group design along pre-test post-test assessments ( n = 23). A mixed methods approach was utilized comprehensively assess outcomes intervention. Results overall rate for 37.87%, 26.26% participants successfully completing all modules. Among 21 assessed, 15 exhibited statistically significant results. Notably, there increase self-compassion, demonstrating large effect size d 1.15), moderate reduction stress 0.62) anxiety 0.52). All indicators received scores above 7. well-received by who completed it, although potential barrier identified volume text within need adopt more playful concise format Discussion Despite notable participant dropout, aligns patterns observed other online interventions conducted real-world settings. high levels, acceptance underscore rationale pursuing subsequent randomized clinical trial.
