Family structures are diverse, with single-parent families being special. Single-parent have garnered interest regarding their impact on children's development in relation to gender roles and social adaptation. This study investigated 532 children from (mean age = 14.81, SD 1.62) parents. We collected data the parental child-rearing role attitudes (PCGAs) of grandparents parents, as well adaptation children. The results revealed four intergenerational trends PCGAs: progression between generations, undesirability both desirability retrogression generations. An ANOVA showed that tended highest scores among trends, while had lowest. A relative mediation analysis compared undesirable PCGAs, progress desirable PCGAs beneficial for traits, is also better. confirm positive effect adaptation, which suggests parents should pay attention education, transform create a nurturing environment development.
