Caring ability is a necessary for nursing staff, which can be improved through acquired training. The cultivation of students' caring the key to determine quality in future. While there an extensive body literature on abilities students, numerous factors influence these abilities, and remains paucity research nexus between self-compassion ability. This study aimed investigate mediating roles altruistic behavior communication skills relationship among students. subjects this were 1567 undergraduate students from four universities different regions China. An online survey was conducted using Ability Inventory (CAI), Self-Compassion Scale (SCS), Altruistic Behavior Questionnaire College Students (ABQ-CS), Supportive Communication (SCS). SPSS 25.0 utilized descriptive analysis, independent sample t-tests, variance Pearson correlation analysis. AMOS 23.0 employed mediation total scores 184.65 ± 23.65. results showed that significantly correlated with self-compassion(r = 0.614,P<0.001), (r 0.698,P<0.001) supportive 0.581,P<0.001). direct effects (β 0.304;0.259 ~ 0.349), 0.429;0.380 0.477), 0.151; 0.110 0.194) confirmed. has indirect 0.312;0.278 0.348) by student. accounted effect 30.88% 69.12%. at medium level. have To improve educational strategies must created self-compassion, skills.
