Abstract Construction of subsea tunnels has grown significantly in recent decades around the world. Hence, ensuring stability these is very important. However, investigating not received enough attention. In present study, finite element limit analysis (FELA) was used to determine internal pressure needed maintain circular embedded a Tresca material by considering various values for influential parameters. It observed that required pressure, dimensionless form, increased increasing soil cover and water depth. The failure mechanism also investigated. did tunnel’s roof lower soil’s undrained shear strength. An adaptive neuro-fuzzy inference system (ANFIS) implemented predict pressure. seen this regard, performance ANFIS far better than multiple linear regression (MLR).
