Abstract The COVID‐19 (Coronoavirus Disease 2019) pandemic has had many disastrous effects on welfare globally, particularly in European countries. In recent research, a new debate arisen as result of the shift day‐to‐day activities to virtual platforms, which augmented concerns related smart (data) access and protection. This study examines economic, social, psychological indicators gain within context their impact protection using data Survey Health, Ageing Retirement Europe real‐time Google Trends from June August 2020. findings indicate negative relationship between economic crisis caused by COVID‐19, while households with sufficient resources support Psychological including nervousness anxiety are highly access. Likewise, being helpful time uncertainty, societal contact, social measures (hygiene face mask) significantly positively suggest that countries should combine agencies health institutes, initiate projects cybersecurity.

This study offers valuable insights into family needs and interaction patterns regarding the use of information communications technologies (ICT) in everyday life. Given that ICT has become an important part life, it is essential to comprehensively explore interactions related experiences with digital technologies. Within DigiGen project, 30 interviews involving 10 families were conducted children aged 5 years their members Estonia. The aim was identify emerge between daily life are accompanied by use.
