Abstract One of the adverse effects antineoplastic drug cisplatin (CS) is damage to testicular tissue. This study aimed examine potential therapeutic effect thymoquinone (TQ), a strong antioxidant, against caused by CS. In experiment, 28 rats were used, and randomly divided into four groups: control ( n = 7), CS + TQ 7). The experiment was called off after all treatments finished on day 15. Blood serum tissues utilized for biochemical, histological, immunohistochemical, mRNA expression, gene protein investigations. testosterone level decreased oxidative stress, histopathological damage, dysregulation in mitochondrial dynamics, inflammation apoptotic cells increased tissue due administration. supplementation showed anti-inflammatory, anti-apoptotic response CS-induced damage. addition, contributed reduction toxic regulating TNF-α/OTULIN/NF-κB pathway. may be strategy axis, inhibiting inflammation, apoptosis.

AbstractOne of the most important side effects Doxorubicin (DOX), a chemotherapeutic agent, is nephrotoxicity. The purpose this study to determine whether different doses natural polyphenol Resveratrol (RSV) show antioxidative, anti-inflammatory or antiapoptotic in kidney tissue DOX-induced nephrotoxicity and detect how nephrin OTULIN levels are affected process. A total six equal groups made up 42 Sprague-Dawley rats utilized (n = 7) were randomly assigned. Except for control group (no treatment), all treatments given intraperitoneally DOX (15 mg/kg), + RSV I mg/kg DOX+ 1 mg/kg/day RSV), II 5 groups. Kidney tissues taken from sacrificed on fifteenth day analyzed biochemically, histologically immunohistochemically. Accordingly, it was determined that decreased Furthermore, caused oxidative stress, inflammation, apoptosis, as well histopathological changes tissue. Aim: Cisplatin (CIS), an antineoplastic agent, shows serious side effects such as hepatotoxicity. Thymoquinone (ThQ) is a powerful anti-oxidant with many beneficial anti-inflammatory, anti-tumoral. The aim of this study was to investigate whether ThQ treatment has hepatoprotective effect in CIS-induced hepatotoxicity model rats and also determine how CIS and/or treatments affect OTULIN levels, one the deubiquitinases, liver tissue. Materials Methods: 28 used control (application not done), (7 mg/kg CIS, first day experiment, intraperitoneal), CIS+ThQ intraperitoneal + 10 mg/kg/day ThQ, oral gavage) (10 were divided into four equal groups (n=7). experiment terminated upon completion all applications (day 15). and\or apps on tissues examined biochemically, histopathologically immunohistochemically. Results: application increased enzyme histopathological changes, inflammation, oxidative stress apoptosis tissue caused decrease level. However, administration showed positive regulatory changes Conclusion: supplementation against damage.
