Jakob

umwelt
theory
opens
new
perspectives
for
understanding
animal
extinction.
The
is
interpreted
here
as
a
sum
of
structural
correspondences
between
an
animal’s
subjective
experience,
ecosystem,
physiology,
and
behaviour.

environmental

meaning-connections.
From
the
perspective,
we
may
describe

in
