Motion sensitivity symptoms, such as dizziness or unsteadiness, are frequently reported non-headache symptoms of migraine. Postural imbalance has been observed in subjects with vestibular migraine, chronic and aura. We aimed to assess the ability largest Lyapunov's exponent for a short time series (sLLE), which reflects cope internal perturbations during gait, detect differences local dynamic stability between individuals migraine without aura (MO) an episodic pattern attacks healthy (HS).

The interpretability of gait analysis studies in people with rare diseases, such as those primary hereditary cerebellar ataxia (pwCA), is frequently limited by the small sample sizes and unbalanced datasets. purpose this study was to assess effectiveness data balancing generative artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms generating synthetic reflecting actual abnormalities pwCA. Gait 30 pwCA (age: 51.6 ± 12.2 years; 13 females, 17 males) 100 healthy subjects 57.1 10.4; 60 40 were collected at lumbar level an inertial measurement unit. Local dynamic stability (LDS) of gait has been used to differentiate between healthy and injured populations, establishing its potential as an indicator a new objective measure assess function following injury. For LDS be reliable assessment tool progression during rehabilitation, it must provide consistent sensitive inter-session measures. Methodological factors such trial duration, variable, Lyapunov Exponent (LyE) algorithm can influence estimation reliability. Young people are high-risk population for sport-related injuries, running is key activity rehabilitation regularly assessed. Therefore, the effects run LyE choice on reliability sensitivity measures in young were investigated. Sixteen participants ran treadmill two separate sessions (difference 7 ± 5 days). was calculated using both Rosenstein Wolf durations 1-, 2-, 3-, 4- 5-min knee flexion angle medio-lateral acceleration pelvis thorax from each session. The relative absolute intraclass correlation coefficient standard error measurement. change quantified by minimal detectable change. Results showed that longer produced higher minimum duration 4 min recommended achieve moderate-to-good across all variables algorithms. However, shorter 2-3 may still sufficient when or angle, particularly with algorithm, which also improves These findings practical guidance methodological choices calculating support their use tools monitoring tracking progress

Ataxia is a neurological symptom that causes decreased balance, loss of coordination, and gait alterations. Innovative rehabilitation devices like virtual reality (VR) systems can provide task-oriented, repetitive intensive training with multisensorial feedback, thus promoting neuroplastic processes. Among these VR technologies, the Computer Assisted Rehabilitation ENvironment (CAREN) associates split belt treadmill on 6-degrees freedom platform 180° screen Vicon motion capture system to monitor patients' movements during sessions.
