Background/Objectives: Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) face challenges in social communication due to difficulties considering context, processing information, and interpreting cues. This study aims explore the neural processes related pragmatic language children ASD address research question of how functional brain connectivity operates during complex tasks. Methods: We examined differences between typically developing peers while they engaged video recordings spoken focused on two types speech acts: semantic pragmatic. Results: Our results showed groups processing, indicating more idiosyncratic Left Somatomotor Limbic networks, suggesting that these networks play a role task-dependent connectivity. Additionally, were mainly localized left hemisphere.

Dyadic social interactions evoke complex dynamics between two agents that, while exchanging unequal levels of body autonomy and motor control, may find a fine balance to synergize, take turns, gradually build rapport. To study the evolution such interactions, we currently rely exclusively on subjective pencil paper means. Here, complement this approach with objective biometrics socio-motor behaviors conducive agency. Using common clinical test as backdrop our probe child clinician, demonstrate new ways streamline detection readiness potential in both typically developing autistic children by uncovering handful tasks that enable quantification control. these further highlight differences males females uncover data type amenable generalizing results any setting. The methods convert continuous dyadic bodily biorhythmic activity into spike trains context behavioral analyses, they are well characterized Gamma process can classify individual thus defined agency during exchange. Finally, apply signal processing tools machine learning show validity streamlined version digitized ADOS test. We offer framework combines stochastic non-linear dynamics, information theory facilitate scaling screening tracking applications autism.
