Water Quality Index (WQI) have been recently used for evaluating water resources quality. This index is developed to assist the management and their allocation different purposes. The confidence in WQI evaluation required decision making. Developing involves various steps that some of them associated with uncertainties. Uncertainties sources such as quality sampling, measuring variability, operator biases are previously studied, whereas uncertainty allocated weights parameters calculating rarely studied seldomly evaluated. For first time evaluations, a framework based on Monte-Carlo method proposed assess uncertainties establishment probabilistic weight values WQI. simulation was randomly generating posterior probability density functions (PDFs) investigating throughout computation Four scenarios guidelines recommended standards these were evaluated during dry wet seasons. paper studies WQI, application 1189 groundwater samples Kerman aquifer, Iran. results showed how can provide valuable information about values. Also, revealed most variation between classes applied achieved "excellent" "unsuitable" Therefore, this practical projects making requires considerable effort appropriate weighting reliable assessment findings support judgments conditions.

Urbanization and land use/land cover (LULC) patterns significantly affect groundwater quality. This study investigated quality LULC conversion of Xi’an City in Guanzhong Basin over ten years, from 2005 to 2015. The relationship between were also explored.
